Virtual Set-top box

The virtual set-top box is an optional product for network service providers.

Any service provider can choose to use the virtual set-top box (V-STB) application to enable specific subscription channels and packages to be viewed online. The V-STB may be used in tandem with the set-top box (STB) service, or as an additional extra.

The V-STB provides the consumer with the same viewing experience, on their PC, which they would receive on their television set via the STB. As with the STB, each individual user has their own log in details, which means the V-STB cannot be shared between users. The V-STB also contains the same, secure, age verification PIN protocol as the STB.
